Rabbinovitz, Raphael Nathan
(1835-88)
   Galician talmudic scholar. He was born in Novo-Zhagory, in the Kovno district. He lived in Lemberg and Pressburg, and travelled widely. His Dikduke Sopherim consists of 16 volumes of variant readings from Talmud manuscripts. He also wrote a study of the printed editions of the Talmud.
